Yes, it *IS* similar. Actually, if you look on the net, you can find plenty of them that look similar and have the same functionality. I liked this one... it was more intuitive for updates and it came with a manual.

Speaking of that... you can download a user manual for your AL201 at www DOT topdon DOT us, as well as updated firmware; assuming you still have it.

I think I will be doing another review shortly on a slightly higher-end unit for TopDon.
