Rust is a common thing on the Ranger, as Ford chose to NOT paint parts that didn't show. Sounds like you are making peace with letting it go. Probably the best with the issues you mentioned.yes and no. i made peace with the issue a couple weeks ago after i scavenged my belonging from the cab.
it was cool while it lasted and i learned a lot from the experience.
most notable is that i learned i install leaf springs by myself LMAO
