Well, I decided what AK I'm going to get. A beauty from Atlantic Firearms. This is the AK I fell in love with several months ago that made me decide I needed an AK. I figured these wouldn't be here by the time I was ready to get one, so I bought a set of russian red furniture. The same furniture which is already on this rifle. I might try to sell the extra set or keep it as a spare set. I'll decide that later on.

Also stopped by my local army surplus store in search of a sling. No dice. I wound up with a nice jacket (no insignia) and an ammo can I'm going to turn into a tethered, locked safe for my truck.
