MaDMaXX, How's this going ? The damage looks like more trouble to fix than what it is worth. If it was just a bent tube then I might say go for it but the welded support and the tube... you can't heat the bracket and try to straighten it without heating the tube too, can't be done with just a torch. Maybe find a different back, switch the covering.
