I have never owned a new vehicle, don't plan on it. Worlds worst investment.My car payments have yet to exceed 8% of my families income. I have a pension, the wife has a huge 401k, my mortgage is less than 20% of my income and my 3 kids have college funds. I don't look at them as investments. They're expenditures. Its something we budget for.
