And I would say that yes you will need it tuned.  Best if you can take it to somone that can tune it, but there are people that can give you canned tunes that are pretty good.  I'll look them up if you want, but I think you would want an SCT tuner.  New fuel supply would be warranted with this, injectors, maybe a pump that can supply it.  And if you are going very high on boost, plan now for meth injection.
