On a different note, I was watching a video by the AK Operators Union, a followup on the C39V2 (which is crumbling like a dry cracker) when something caught my eye; a video talking about "Russian Tula Ammo Ban", also from the AKOU. So off to Google I went, seeing if I could find anything about this. Well, long story short, I could find only (literally) a handful of recent threads talking about this. None of which seemed to produce any sort of citation, evidence, what-have-you. Some have said they've called companies like wolf and tula asking about it, only to be told (in effect) "What are you talking about?". Supposedly the ban, assuming it's real, isn't due to anything here in the US; rather something-something Russia, something-something sanctions..... In fact, in my search, I found more 'steel cased ammo banned from ranges' threads and the like than the actual importation being limited. I did find a few talking about the same thing.....from 2012 or so. I'd like to provide more detail than that, but I couldn't find much of anything in the way of actual information. If anyone has any, I'd love to read it. Until then, I'll take 'Rumor' for $800 Alex.
