I tried loading up some 6.8SPC this afternoon on my Dillon RL550B press. I spent an hour trying to get the powder measure to settle down. I only got 20 rounds loaded and all of them manually weighed. Very frustrating, the powder measure is usually very consistent but today it didn't drop the same load twice. Then I thought about what has changed. I replaced the bulbs in the florescent light in my reloading shop. I have a Hornady electronic scale. The lights are screwing with the scale. I pulled one of the loads I had apart and pulled out the triple beam - it was 2 grains off. I now get to pull apart the other 19 rounds as I am sure they are not right as well. I will be hitting Home Depot for a LED light fixture tomorrow. Florescent and CFL emit frequencies that can screw with other electronics. Fun day - not.
