There are 2 lines coming out of the firewall, one goes to the control valve then continues to the water pump. I'm sure one of us can take a picture soon.
Does the valve actuate when you turn the heat on? It should move when you turn the heat on but it's usually on the bottom so you have to feel it, takes 2 people to do this.
What is the exact symptom you are trying to cure?
