I started the Ranger for the fist time in about a week. It was 33 degrees and the battery had barely enough power to start the engine. I ran it 45 minutes up the road to the range and back - it is cranking fine now. It has a Motorcraft battery that is at least 9 years old. I am living on borrowed time with this battery. It made it up to 35 here today according to the weather station. I was at the Wilson Shoals WMA range today testing a new load for my six8 AR. I was there during the high today in Lula which was 34. Good day at the range. Two of my loads have less than a 7/16" spread at 90 yards (range limit). I will be pressing out another 15 rounds for ladder testing later this month when I have access to a longer range. The more I shoot the six8 the more I like it.
