I have a few drop leg holsters for the Beretta M9 (issued). I think one is Safariland and the other is Blackhawk. Sage green and black, respectively. Some leather holster's still offer a basic fit for your frame size, then have the backstrap to keep the weapon seated properly. Not a perfect fit but they usually get the job done. I do love Kydex holsters though. The "click" when installed is a plus, lets me know it's in where it needs to be. They usually leave a slight line on your gun though where the pinch point slides across the thicker areas. Leather is probably more comfy to wear, especially IWB.
