I won't be modifying the trigger pull, which seems to be the 'hot water' topic of that. I'm only making the trigger itself closer towards the rear, allowing me to grasp it better. The action is left unaltered. Now mods like the "You're f****d!" "Smile, wait for flash!" engravings, grim reaper grips, etc, I have heard of people getting into some hot water over. Weak point? Yeah, definitely, but brought up no less. It does suck that holsters wears the finish off a pistol, but I found that my leather fitted holster did just that to my 1911. It bothered me at first, but I take general finish wear as kind of a milestone. It shows that I use it, and a worn firearm has character to it. besides, if nothing else, it's a good excuse to get it refinished at some point.
