Having bought a very crippled 98...it had a very bad exhaust problem. The roar in the cab would cause you to be deaf for several minutes after leaving the truck. I do not know much about a 98 ranger. I took it to an Exhaust & Auto shop. Sounded sweet on the way home.. then when I looked at my Os codes.. I crawled under there and there was not the two large round things in front of the Muffler. How do I fix it so the OS codes are fixed and I am getting the right fuel/air ratio... Gas cost too much to have a gas hog on the road. cheers Sammy
