Now we need some square wave pulse generating device to pre calibrate speedometers after needle removal. LOL! What's the frequency of 60 MPH?

133.3333Hz

Most Fords are set to 8000 pulses per mile. So 60*8000 Pulses equals 480000 Pulses per hour. Divide by 3600 seconds=133.33Hz

It's 2.2222Hz per MPH.

I used an arduino to generate the 50% duty cycle when I was trying to make a speed correction device. Still seemed a little off. Maybe because the arduino only generates a 5V signal instead of 12V.

Anyway you can generate a speed and check it using forscan. Then you can manipulate the frequency to where you get a solid mph, like 60.
