I did not want to do all the f/e work & take it for an alignment to be told it needs them & either have them install them or pick the truck back up & I install them & then have to take it back for the alignment. They are not that expensive & you have to take the old ones out to replace the upper control arm anyway, to me it was a possible time saver. IIRC someone on FRF had that problem where he did not put them in & then had to install them.
