I like the fact that I get 18 to 19 mpg around town and 21-22 mpg on the road. I can throw just about anything I need in the bed. What doesn't fit in the bed or ladder rack I can load in my 5x10 trailer and drag it behind. My truck is what I consider my basic transportation.
The issue I have with a F-150/250/350 is the cost, fuel mileage, and bulkiness.
Agreed.. My favorite is when myself and the local crew hit some of the more obscure trails and the guys in that crew upscaled their trucks to f150 or others with full quad cabs and such then complain that when the trails get narrow that branches pinstripped their trucks, a rock grabbed a mirror or a quarter panel, or they just dont fit on that trail anymore altogether.
Im like leave your topless station wagon with the wife then.. should have kept your smaller midsized more useful truck..
