Nice write up, Bill! You should duplicate that here in the DIY section as another option for under-hood lighting.

On another note, when you want to post a link to a NON-HTTPS site, use the "Insert Code Tags" function. The button is on the far right, top row in the Post Reply dialog and looks kind of like this: <>

NOTE: you don't have this option with the quick reply dialog.
