Well then we need another thread with actual articles and statutes upholding the laws with data pasted from credible government articles, because I really don't know and traditionally choose not to do things that are even questionable due to the fact that things like these are safer to ask permission han forgiveness. Forgiveness would be expensive.

Is there legal LED's you can put in stock lenses? I don't really know,perhaps there are designs for this perhaps the manufacturer claims this and it is not true.

Is there clear guidelines on what is and is not illegal? There certainly is, but I have not seen or researched such things since they do not apply to my particular situation (other than owning a forum where they are being discussed).

So I think it is time to do some research and post some info (in an additional thread) with legal info pertaining to common misconceptions like color of lights, brightness of lights and possibly catalytic converter/emissions/engine year swap info. Maybe some noise (loud muffler) info, lifted vehicle, wheel spacer outside of fender well, stuff like this.

I would include it in the tech articles I will assemble and put on a separate page eventually.
