.......and other front-end stuff. OK folks, I just had my 98 4.0 XLT 4x4 up on a lift for my first undercarriage inspection. The good news:minimal rust and the drivetrain looks & feels fine...nothing loose, shaking or wobbly. The bad news: Gotta do ball-joints. R-side: lower ball {upper is still nice & tight} sway-bar link inner tie-rod Driver's side: Upper & lower ball joints sway-bar link I don't need anything heavy duty because my 4x4 use is primarily as it's needed and not recreational. I had good experience w/Moog on my 88 Bronco so I plan on using Moog parts on this unless y'all have suggestions. My big question is 4x4 vs 4x2 when I'm ordering parts. Is there a distinction? I've been on Rock Auto and they don't show any differences. Also, if anyone has specific part #s that would be nice too. :)
