I have the same door panel. I love what Nigel did but my panel offers little in the way of detail to paint. I eventually want to add power windows as well so I'll likely wait for that.
As basic as that is [WTF no map pocket even?], Vinyl paint that armrest with a QUALITY vinyl paint and re wrap the panel above in either a nice alacantra or leather; both in Black OR whatever color you wish and then match the plastic furniture to that.. Its simple but noticable and of course will be appreciated more because you changed it to your liking and did it yourself. just my thoughts.
