I tried the E3 premium and had issues with misfires after about 4k. All the parts place had in stock to fit were NGK and they were crap right from the beginning. I had them order Motorcraft and they got me the SP-413. The SP-413 is nickel plated copper and is good for 30K miles. At 33k miles the gap can be more than double due to electrode erosion so they have to be changed. My belief is the duel fire coils wear them prematurely. I have 10k on my most recent set of SP-413's Pep Boys lists the Motorcraft SP-500 as the Finewire Platinum-Tip with a 100k service cycle.
