From what I've heard about the bill, they don't plan on adding anything like that to what already exists. No new credentials, no higher cost, merely forcing it to be valid in all 50 states as it should be.

I don't see it not passing, personally. There's a lot of co-sponsors and a lot of support. Of course the left is there as always, but the public (or whoever) doesn't seem to be biting into the bait that is the left's tantrums over the subject.

From what I understand, this is a simple cut and dry bill: Make a permit (if your state issues one) valid in all 50 states like a driver's license.

I love this bill because it's a total bird-flyer to the left, especially when you consider that this would allow gun-loving Californians (yes they do exist) to get a permit from another state (I think Arizona specifically) and then use in California, the same logic likely being applied to Maryland and New York.

Others will say "Hey, wait a minute. These guys from out of state are carrying guns in my state and aren't doing anything wrong. Why can't I?" and then with time 'may issue' states (or as I like to say 'not on your life issue' will turn to 'shall issue' states, and then we'll be a few steps closer to taking apart all the BS we're forced to live with.

Long live the second. *Eagle screech*
