I swapped to a steel one on my 2000. It was out of necessity though. I had to remove the cat pipe and the old bolts got stuck in the manifold flange. Drill and drill and broke a tap and said screw this I'll just get another manifold. Nearest junkyard had a 1997 (steel) so I said what the hell I use it.

Had to add an O2 bung to the cat pipe because 97 trucks had the O2 on the cat pipe and not the manifold.
