I am having a bad time ....

Cleared out the old fuel and replaced with fresh 99 octane super+, that immediately found all the perished hoses so I have had to crawl around under the cars to replace the tank to pump and pump to fuel line flexy hoses. That done one of the fuel pumps decided to stop working, so back under the car to pull it out, disassemble it and clean points, test and it is OK, put it back and it isn't working .... drag it out again and adjust the throw of the pump and get it working again, put it back and its OK but then one of the carbs starts flooding ... take off both carbs and disassemble to clean a tiny bit of crud out of one of the valves ... put it all back together and start the engine, runs great for 5 mins and then the pump stops working again... new pump ordered, stiff drink needed
