Sorry for the delay, guys. I'm not getting emails about thread activity, even though the box is ticked. I am on my THIRD set of solenoids. Ordered a set from eBay (condition: new). Arrived as a set of USED solenoids. So I went to Amazon. They also arrived USED (does Amazon sell used items?). So, three times a charm (I hope). I ordered a set from Global Transmission Parts. Pretty sure these will be NEW because the price is double what I was paying at eBay and Amazon. They are out for delivery today, so I might get my truck back, IF this fixes the issue. @Jim: I am suspecting the problem is the TCC solenoid, but I wanted to replace all of them, just in case. When my trans shifts, it is smooth as glass until that weird revving problem happens, then it shifts HARD. @Mike: I hope this doesn't end up needing a full rebuild. If that is what is required, I have found a used trans with 120k on it for $450 at a local auto salvage yard. They state they test these, then pull and tag them. They are stored in a warehouse, so it should be good. My truck has 220510 miles on the clock where it sits in the garage.
