You would think the wires would seal out the water from the coils. I used some dielectric grease when I put mine on.
I do know I wrecked the IAC with the pressure washer. Good thing I had another one sitting in my overstuffed garage.
How did a pressure washer ruin the IAC?
I think I will apply some dielectric to mine since you mentioned it.
