Since I will be fully retiring at the end of the year I am contemplating a new project. Since the engine died in my old 2000 Ranger I have been contemplating a V-8 swap as a project to keep me busy along with my woodworking after the Mustang is running of course. We also have a 99 Explorer Sport that I have also contemplated swapping in a V-8 to replace the 4.0 SOHC which is still a running driving truck. So which would be easier, the Ranger or the Explorer? The Ranger is 4WD & the Explorer is AWD if that matters.
