96-97.5 4r70w wiring is different from 98-01 4r70w at the solenoid s
What year did your new trans harness come from? It must be from a 98-01 5.0 since you are using a 2000 4r70w
If your harness is from a 96-97.5 then you will have some changes to make at the white plug passenger side of transmission behind the heat guard. Access to this plug and wires is easiest through the floor

Cannot talk to the shift solenoids and control the epc solenoid you must solve this before trans will work
