Hi, I re read the entire thread to get a feel for it. Really glad you checked the fuel pressure! OK I read you re used the engine bay harness. If this means from the ECU to the plugs in the engine bay (one for the chassis one for the transmission) there is a wiring difference in the plug for the transmission. Again I do not have a diagram for this vehicle but the trans is simply not getting the signal to shift and it looks like nothing is getting back to the ECU. If you used the mounty plug going into the ECU and used the plug going in to the trans it should have worked. Again your next step needs to be e-bay, an electrical diagram for the 03 ranger and the 00 mounty. Somewhere the trans isn't getting the signals it needs OR can't report those signals back to the ECU to let the ECU know it is OK to go on to the next range. By the time this is done you will be a wiring guru!
