Early 1996~2000 V6~4.0L~SOHC Engin has a 'VariableVolume" IntakeManifold, looks like a "Pretzel". Factory MidYear 2001 & Later V6~4.0L~SOHC Engin has a redesigned simpler IntakeManifold. Yep, you don't want to own an early 4.0L~SOHC Engin; way too many design+production problems.
