Monday night (01/30/2023), it started sleeting then turned to freezing rain (yay!). WHILE it was coming down, I went out with a shop rag and silicone spray and wiped down both door seals. The next morning, everything was covered in ice. My truck opened right up!!! So thanks, Eddie, for that tip. I will attest that it definitely works!
P.S. Only downside to that was then I had to clean the ice off the windows and drive the 35 miles to work...

My 2003 Edge had iridium plugs in it when I bought it. Dealer said they had just tuned it up, so I didn't bother looking. Mine started running rough(er) so I pulled the plugs. Yep, HUGE gap. I bought new Motorcraft plugs and wire set. I pulled those after about 40k miles on them and they looked like new. My opinion: iridium plugs suck.
It's my understanding that iridium plugs are typically used in boosted applications
