Silicone spray keeps it lubed and should help with the sticking too. Spray and wipe off the excess. Takes the brown off too.
Monday night (01/30/2023), it started sleeting then turned to freezing rain (yay!). WHILE it was coming down, I went out with a shop rag and silicone spray and wiped down both door seals. The next morning, everything was covered in ice. My truck opened right up!!! So thanks, Eddie, for that tip. I will attest that it definitely works!
P.S. Only downside to that was then I had to clean the ice off the windows and drive the 35 miles to work...
