Don't know about the 1997, but my son replaced the rust-plagued doors on his 1999 with doors from a 2003. Now to be fair, his truck didn't have power windows until he did this swap, but he did the necessary wiring per the 1999 diagram and it worked beautifully. Power windows, locks and mirrors. Unfortunately, 6 months later, he fell asleep on his way home from work and totaled the truck. LOTS of work down the tubes on that one.
