I never did find a suitable engine core so now I'm doing my own. I was planning to do it next month any way, but timetable advanced a little on me today. My 2002 timing chains finally bit it this morning. My truck has 518,000. original miles. I bought the master engine kit along with a set of rebuilt heads last year and I have all the parts set aside for this day. Now it's time to put it all to use. I could swear I saw a post on here or another forum one time where a guy posted he's got 530K original on his Ranger. That post made me delay mine for a year to see if I could do that. I would say the mission was 95% accomplished. Have a great T-Day people.
