Weather was crappy so I didn't do the brakes. I lifted the hood and there wasn't a rod to hold it up. So I grabbed a metal bar from the garage, propped it up. Then something in my brain went "snap" and I looked at the hinges remembering they usually have gas shocks. I reached in my crate of parts and pulled out 2 perfectly good hinges with gas shocks, though from a 99 and a 97 the shocks fit. Now my hood stays open when I choose. The driver side door handle was busted, I dunno I think it is pretty important to be able to enter the driver side on the driver side so I knocked the centers out of those rivets and drilled them out. The centers knock out easily (pin punch, from outside to inside) and they drill super easy being aluminum. I ordered a metal handle instead of that stupid plastic they put on there. Someone destroyed the pads that have the window/lock controls on them trying to pry them off with the shell on. These come off AFTER THE panel is removed, 2 little latches they slide right INWARD. The door panel must be removed or you will destroy the control panel. You would think after destroying the passenger side they would have tried something different on the driver side but noooooo.
