I started a new Thread to keep the actual Thread with the Holly Controller in it where it should be.
Hello,
I have been reading the input and the scuttlebutt in the 2007 Ranger Modding by 410custom and the thing that really interested me is the Holly Fuel Computer and what is does.
By using the Holly Fuel System Computer/Controller (HC), does that mean you don't need the OEM Ford Computer (FC) to control the engine any longer ?
Does the FC is only doing... what exactly ? I'm thinking it only has to run the body functions or does the FC have to interface with the HC ?
Interestingly enough to think that a 5.0L V-8 can be installed without side effects from the FC, no more worries or confusions about reprogramming !
OR, it isn't like I'm thinking, the HC doesn't run under a separate guise and the FC still has the main control and programming.
