On my 2008 2wd I put 2†lift coils in it and didn't need longer control arms. The MaxTrac kit with the lift coming from the new knuckle is honestly the best way to go. Maybe ask the company if you can send the coils back and save up for the MaxTrac kit? If not, 2†coils will work. It is a pain to get the control arm to go down enough to get the pinch bolt to seat, I used my heavy duty ratchet straps and a Jack to pull it all together. HEAVY DUTY RATCHET STRAPS, not cheap Walmart ones or harbor freight ones. I honestly do NOT suggest this/condone this, it's just what I did (looking back now I was very lucky). If possible maybe a shop can install them? What's the specific reason you need longer control arms?
