I put the best of what I had in. Charged it with my 30LB tank of R134A I bought years ago also. WOW what a difference, open the valve and it's there. Took like 30 seconds to charge. The time between pump pulsing and running solid was like 10 seconds. I come from "can" technology where you have to put the can in a vat of warm water to finish the charge even on the low side. Stuck new o-rings and a new orifice/filter in. Funny how this crucial part of the system only costs 4 bucks even OEM ford. To replace it you have to have the system evacuated, proper PAG oil charge and Freon charge which cost most humans well over 100 bucks. If you use your AC half the time and your truck is 15 years plus old.... the orifice is bad. End result, the AC works incredibly well! I am a vacuum pump and an empty reclaim tank away from being an AC tech. I have to do the silver truck also, its valve is so badly clogged the high side goes to over 300 PSI. It hisses for like 30 seconds after I park it.
