Hi, welcome to FR. 3 inches is actually a LOT for a 2wd front end. I honestly do not have experience with lifting 2wd but I have seen kits.

All the good 2wd lift kits include a spring and a replacement knuckle. It isn't going to be too expensive. Boy do I understand budget.
