Well, my 2002 Ranger 4.0L has over half a million original miles on it and I plan a complete OVH soon. I also have a chance to buy a 1998 Ranger 4WD with same
at a pretty cheap price. The 98 model is a std transmission and pretty much a rusted-out body Etc. I'm looking at the engine as a core to build, have ready for a quick
swap but was wondering about the compatibility, any difference in the block etc.
