So somebody on another group is looking to buy a 4x4 ranger, and the ones he is looking at are listed for $13k and $15k. I paid $2500 for my B4000 six years ago! I've always said that I would never sell my truck, but life has changed, I work from home, my truck has sat for a month and a half without being driven, my wife has a hybrid and so I drive it instead, since it gets 52mpg vs 16, my kids have all gotten too big for the jump seats in the back, so I can't take more than one kid at a time, and I have 5, so if I go anywhere and my wife's car isn't available, we have a Tahoe I can drive. I work for U-Haul and I get 25% off rentals, so I can rent a $20 truck for $15+ miles for the once a month I actually need an actual pickup truck. If somebody offered me $15,000 for my truck I would be HARD pressed to say no to that money. anybody else seeing increasing values and wondering if it's a good time to say goodbye to an old friend?
