Hello there I just found this page the other day. I used to be somewhat active over on Ford Ranger Forums but have been out of the Ranger game for the last few years.  My first car was a 2000 xlt 4x4 supercab with the 4.0 OHV. That truck was kind of a testing ground of learning what mods I do and don't  like.

After getting married both my wife and I were unemployed for a bit so couldn't afford the gas for it so the Ranger had to go.
Fast forward 3 years and a move back out west and I ended up picking up this little gem just to get me from point A to B.

96 2.5 5 speed. It's been great on gas and vary reliable for the past two years but I've been getting awful tired of driving Alberta winters with 2wd and an open dif.
Enter my new project.

2002 FX4 Off Road 5 speed manual transfer case. I know it looks rough but for $900 I can't complain. It has a list of things that I need to tackle before I start driving it but I should have that all done by the end of the summer.
Plans right now after repairs are hopefully to get a superlift and put 33s on it and then from there I haven't fully decided on anything. We really enjoy camping and I have some road trips that I would like to do in the next few years if we get the chance so I'll be looking and upgrades to make it better suited for that.
Looking forward to this new community and hopefully I can learn things here and maybe even contribute to others leaning as well.
