Back when I changed my tires from the crappy Goodyears I was amazed how well the Cooper Radial GT's rode. The Goodyears were dangerous when the road was wet. They still had half the tread but I had an "OHSHIT" session where I spun out during a misting rain helped me make the decision to get something better.
