So one of my neighbors get a free Ranger, was owned by a deceased friend of the family. There are no keys to this truck, I have only removed lock cylinders with the key. I couldn't find a definitive article on doing this! Most said to drill out the pin but the pen is steel and the surrounding metal is cast aluminum... one slip and you are done. Has anyone had to remove one of these? I towed it home for her but we need to move it to her driveway off the street. Hard to do when the steering is locked. Interesting truck, has the 2.3 4 cyl, stick, rusty as heck on the outside but good frame and only 62,000 miles. Has a cap, no rust on the inside of the bed.
