because, between the 1998 Mazda B4000, the 2004 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.3, and my 1989 Jeep Wagoneer, none of our vehicles get over 15mpg in our typical driving (lot of short trips). This gets 53 (so far, we only have about 200 miles on it, still have more than 3/4 of a tank of gas, from the first tank).
Sold the wife's 2011 Ford Escape for a profit over what we paid for it a year ago, even account for taxes and all that.
