The weld method is what I was planning on. The bolt is pretty cross threaded, so I don't think an easy out or extractor will work, and there is enough thread that a bolt could be welded on. I just don't have a welder, so waiting for my friend to come back in town in a couple of weeks to be able to use his. In the past I would just use my dad's, but they moved to a town house last year, and never set up power for a welder, and then promptly moved out of state for a church mission for a couple of years. My current house has had two additions done to it, and I had an electrician out to see what it would take to run power for one here and he just laughed at me, since the whole house would basically have to be rewired.... (rooms on opposite ends of the house are run together, and stuff, it's pretty crazy).
