I can't get under it though, not in a way i can see, otherwise that'd be fine.
Top mount would be very easy, but the depth of the light bars mean that step block you can see pushes it out and angles the bar maybe 10%.
Can you post a straight on level pic of your grill area, (think of a sideways phone camera shot and just fill the screen with the headlights and grill for the shot I am looking for) and then the light fixture itself and its mount(s).
Might be able to provide you with some mounting options and thoughts to consider for completing your mod with an easier time.
