Repair shop rates are a b*tch. That is why I do ALL my own work on my truck. My wife's Lincoln MKx? Well, that's another story. PTU went out three years ago, cost almost $2000 to repair. Worth every penny; if you know where that thing is located. No way you could do that without a lift. Left it to the professionals.
