There is a kit to put a LS in almost anything. Neighbors 4.0 L spun a bearing in his 25ish old 4x4 Comanche a few years back. He now has a 5.3L LS sitting in it. More power and better fuel mileage. Plus it sounds awesome when he gets on it. I had the opportunity to buy a 6.0L LS with auto trans and computer at a great price. I considered putting into the Stingray but talked myself out of it. I wish I had bought it as 6 months later there a 99 K-5 Blazer that is for sale with a blown motor for a cheap price not too far away.
