Things like this is exactly why I always regret hanging out on the MAC or Snap-On tool trucks because you find all sorts of "specialty tools" that you may be unfamiliar with and or can add to existing tools you may have [regardless of make] and next thing you know you just financed off $400 worth of tools you didnt know you needed let alone wanted. #tooladdictions

By your own thoughts, I'd suspect that if you have the right extensions and swivels for your nutdriver or screwdriver set and or long reaching ratcheting wrenches, and put that first screw/bolt in and then button it tight on the way out closer to yourself, I'd bet a decent beer you'll find a win today. Just need to try harder than Bud-Light ; )
